Any bearing seller would be able to measure that bearing ID, OD and supply a new one I would think.
    Failing that try SIP themselves?

As you have the two halves of the bearing, press them out (you may need a hydraulic press) and take to any bearing company so they can measure them and supply the correct size

Good idea. The supplier I bought that machine off is inquiring about the bearing from SIP. Other than that I'll keep this in mind. Thanks.

I got a new bearing from reliance in Limerick city today, €15 & €20 fitted by a local mechanic.

    Thanks so much I'm delighted.

Nice one, I'd say there was some clattering before you stopped it:eek:

Sounded like a 4 cylinder with a hole in block! Thanks **** I had just plugged it in and was able to turn it off right away.

You were lucky it didn't bust its way out of the casting, well, it was never going to seize anyway :)
