Childcare Reductions on SW

Just trying to find out - husband has started a CE scheme and creche has advised us we are entitled to a reduction in the weekly cost of sending our daughter in. However, the manager claims that WITH the reduction (I triple-checked this with her), we would be paying €40 per week for three days at 5 hours per day. I asked if she was sure she didn't mean we would receive a reduction of €40 per week and she said no - that we get a fiver off. I know this can't be right, as I know others on the same scheme who are getting a full week for less than that!
However, online research seems to suggest that we would get €47.50 off per week, which is actually more than what the creche costs for the hours my daughter is in. Anyone with personal experience explain this to me so I have my ducks in a row when I confront manager again?

ShaSha this scheme is operated by your local authority Childcare Committee.

Thanks, few of the links there answer a lot of questions in that one of the schemes she suggested cannot charge nearly as much as she thinks, so at least I know now that she definitely has it wrong!
