new herd number

    Have my meeting / farmyard inspection with the DVO on friday for a new herd number, when can i expect to get it or how long should it take? Thinking of may 15th deadline

    Sadly the inspection isn't the final part, we got ours in April & didn't have the Herd Number until June, but others got it in May
    You can submit the BPS application without the herd number, just highlight that Herd Number to follow.
    The main concern on not having the Herd Number in May is you'll not qualify for the ANC

    Thanks for that! Wow thats a long wait! At least you can apply for bps. Im hoping to get entitlements form the national reserve. Is anc the same as area aid?

    Yea ANC is the new Area aid / DAS
    If you're hoping for entitlements, you will be using an Agri consultant & they should be able to inform you more
