How does one apply for a hospital porter job. I've worked in retail for the past ten years so I've lots of people skills. Is there certain qualifications needed or is more on the job training

The HSE hospitals advertise on www.hse.ie/eng/staff/Jobs/Job_Search/General_Support_Staff

There's a temp porter vacancy on there for Galway Hospital group. Have a look at the job spec. They state you must have a FETAC level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support/Health Service skills or a min 1 years experience.

Thanks lad. Unfortunately I'm in the Midlands and I've no qualifications yet.
