    Hello.

I bought an old Russian ex military van about a year and a half ago. UAZ 452.. it's got a 10 year old polish diesel engine an Andoria... I've had a lot of engine problems since I got it and it hasn't driven for a year... I'm just wondering if anyone knows a good eastern European mechanic in North county Dublin that I could try who would probably be familiar with the van and engine do I can finally get it going...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

    Cheers

I'd recommend Anton, owner of Auto Doctor, in Feltrim Business Park. He's Eastern European and has done good work for me before.

He has a colleague working in the garage too that's Eastern European who did a welding job for a recent NCT that was so good, the tester said himself it was one of the best welds he had ever seen.

Between the two of them, they should be able to help you.

They're still selling these new AFAIK. Saw a YouTube walk around video a few months ago of a new one. Think they're petrol now.

There's a group of Polish mechanics that run a garage across from Celtic car parts in Balbriggan, they're good lads.

Auto Expert on St. Margarets Road, Finglas. AFAIK one of the mechanics there is ex-milatary lad. Could be an option
