Crack in wall over esb box

This is an ex council house where an esb box (old photo, just to show position of box in wall, will update later) was built into the wall and cracks have appeared from the top of the wall and down to the esb box.

There is a steel lintel over the box which looks very corroded.

Does esb networks have any responsibility or liability to:-

    A. Repair the cracks
    B. To block up the hole left after removing the box to re-site it elsewhere.
    C. A+B

thanks for any advice on this, just want to have some idea where I might stand on this before contacting them.

The ESB box was "built into the wall" or the wall was built around the box? I would say it's the latter meaning the ESB probably had no hand in building the wall - more likely the developer/owner.

Looks like standard settlement/shrinkage cracks and may be coincidence they are near the ESB box, they usually start at a joint/bend/weak point in a wall like a top of a door or in this case the lintel (which by the way should be a galvanised steel plate).
