Great 15 day tour of Wales and the UK.
Irish Ferries Swift fast ferry is a god send, fast way to get to Holyhead.
Filled here up with 98ron while over there.

Saw some lovely sights down through Wales, weather was good for the most part.

Best bits for me were BSB Brands Hatch and also managing to get out on the Top Gear Test track and also chat with the McLaren race car team.
The 747 Jumbo Jet is unreal up close, its HUGE.

Enjoyed a VIP day in Mercedes Benz World in Brooklands while over there.

The S1000rr was comfy to ride with all the gear strapped onto her.
And the car satnav worked a treat too.

Anyway some pics for yous to "laugh at"...:D

Great pics mate and looks like a great trip, but seriously you need to dump one of the sports bike for a sports tourer the amount of trips you take. Be a hell of alot less hassle, alot more comfortable with virtually no loss of speed (ZZR1400 etc would suit)

Just an FYI re first pic, what I do with the GS on the ferry is rather than crush the seat padding with the securing strap I take the seat off and strap it down on the frame and put the seat back on. Might not be possible on all bikes. I wince when a see an overzealous seaman try and cut the seat in half with a ratchet strap..... although looking at your pics there is a nice piece of protection in place, not all ferries have that.

WTF have they done with that 747 and why? They never used twin podded engines.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

Converted for 1 of the Bond Films i believe.

They built it for a Bond film. They covered the track in lights and spent weeks filming it. They tried to sell it but its now used for every British TV show using a plane interior. Word is it now makes just as much from Filming as it would as a working plane.
