Another week of money outstanding

Just to voice a rant and get it off my chest. Yet another week has passed where the dept have yet to look at my grant. This is on top of the 15% Glas topup which is unpaid and the payment for Glas+, talks of a near certain delay in KT, inability to submit my SFP for this year yet due to a 'computer issue' surrounding Glas maps not being available
I've been chasing this grant for months as the money I have invested out of my own pocket is more than I took in earnings off the farm in 2016 so quite a noticeable hole in the bank balance. Jumped through all the rings they asked for and submitted ALL the paper work, pretended I wasn't fuming when they told me they wanted a marriage certificate & calmly explained that under no circumstance were the old lad and myself getting married regardless of how much the grant was for etc. I've contacted the dept countless times and won't give me any update, contacted Michael Creed direct and he's spouting rubbish that his secretary has looked into it and it should be sorted.
Who as a group can farmers contact to get these issues sorted? If I owed money to them I would be charged interest on it until repaid yet they don't even have to give a timeline of when they plan on issuing money which they have already received from Europe? Something needs to change, if this was any other industry being abused to such a regard there would be nothing else on the news every day but due to an assumption of us lying down to be kicked no one bothers to report on it or force the dept to treat us in the same regard they demand.

Have you met any of them face to face?

Feel sorry for you - been there myself. Whats happening with GLAS is an outright abuse of power by the Department of Agriculture. If I was you I would be camping in the relevent office until it gets sorted.
The Farmers Charter is a joke.

I've threatened to meet Creed as he is in my constituency but no would be the short answer. No idea where I'm connected to when I'm ringing about the grant so can't chase that up, Glas your told its 'being processed'.

The most ironic of it all is when I was setting up the partnership at one point I was given a half day to get them a document or I wouldnt have been accepted, regretting getting that document in on time now :(
