Hi all. I'm currently insured on a family car by the aviva driving school deal for 6 months insurance and 13 lessons. I'm about halfway through my 6 months and I'm thinking of buying my own car. Does anyone know if it's possible to transfer this deal to a different car?

It might be possible to transfer the 6 months free driving onto a different car where you are a named driver but definitely not onto one where you are the policy holder. However if you get the top grade in the lessons then I think they give you a discount when you are setting up your own policy

I would doubt it very much, had my son on this & after he passed his test he STILL had to be accompanied while driving under the conditions of the policy for the remainder of the six months
