Cyclists are a bunch of dry ****es and their forum reflects this - discuss

I'll be the first to admit that I'm lazy about reading the various charters. However I'm reasonably well behaved if I say so myself and hence seem to avoid warnings by just trying to be a relatively decent human being.

Anyway I popped in on a ''joke'' thread in the cycling forum about hilarious artwork on posters ripping the piss out of cyclists and expecting the hilarity to continue I weighed in with a humorous and accurate pen picture of cyclists as follows :

Cyclists are a rather annnoying bunch. With all their badges and special clothes these grown adults look like little boys dressed up in the team uniform of their favorite football club. They annoy me most in the mountains where they cycle side by side blocking narrow roads while shoving their lycra clad arses in my windscreen. And usually its a bloke too. So nothing interesting in the arse department to look at either. In Howth they're no different a species except maybe some roads are wider so I totally get where the creator of these posters is coming from. A humorless response doesnt do cyclists any favors.
I know Ive just triggered loads of the readers of this forum but at least furiously typing away here will keep you safely off the roads and is so then its well worth it

I got a warning and my post removed by a very nice mod who I presume was just doing his job. I have no problem with that . Lesson learned. I hold no grudges. I support the police etc etc . ( and actually asked that mod is it was a problem if I slagged cyclists in After Hours as I felt they deserved it and he said he doesnt have a problem with that). And cant be arsed complaining even if there was any benefit from it. I'm not here to complain. Its not a ''change your mod decision thread. Its not a the system is corrupt and so are the mods thread. No. No . No. I'm here to chill. And it was obvious a bunch of bronie cyclists who like to sleep in his lycra with his fixie bike in the bed and his helmet on had been triggered.

So I engage again with the same thread much later. The fact it was the same thread isnt important as it was just my contribution to something that appeared on my screen which I wasnt tracking or obsessed with. And I honestly contribute my experience of cyclists driving hypocritically while driving a car. Now I didnt even use big triggering words like hypocrite. However out the triggered cyclists come with slurs about sexuality and outright calling yours truly a liar and their posts remain and are not judged negative. Of course I'm not going to report their posts. I'm not a feckin tout like them :pac:
I never met such a bunch of triggered hypocritical dry ****es outside of a sjw forum and thats the truth. So I hereby have decided to ignore all cycling threads and have specifically unsubscribed from that one. No doubt they continue to suggest while quoting me that noticing a dude on a bike crossing the median white line towards my side of the road correlates with some sort of sexual preference. I couldnt give a monkeys.

So my proposal is that cyclists are a bunch of humorless lycra clad shytes. what say you ?

It's the tremendous sense of entitlement they carry with them that annoys the hell out of me well that and their stupid little go pro cameras on their helmets.

It's long overdue. They think they're safe from ''negative criticism'' in their cycling forum Ivory Tower while they use that place to bash anyone who has a dissident opinion :pac:

No no no . Not at all . I simply proposing that we finally agree that cyclists are a bunch of humorless shytes.

I don't have a sense of entitlement I just want to get to and from work without being intimidated by motorists.

What's the 1.5 metre rule about? Does this take into account of an erection?

The ones with the leg tattoos are the real deal. Also helps if they have a camera recording there cycle - must think they are on a superbike that can do 180mph and actually record something interesting instead of other mens arses in lycra!

Have you considered buying a car? Then you too can intimidate Bi-cyclists.

Disgusting middle-aged tubs of lard, wheezing along three abreast on any sunny bank holiday.
It's a form of midlife crisis but with elements of homosexuality and fetishsm.

The lack of humour can be explained by thier lack of happiness..bulging waistline,a shrewish wife who despises them and they can't afford to join a golf club.

    **** to a man.

noooooooo .... eh .... well its not a cycling thread because theirs are typically about ''how smug and a winner I feel I am while wearing too tight lycra and cycling 3 abreast blocking traffic and shoving my arse in full view of the windscreen of the bored and frustrated motorist whos evil pollution device I am obstructing''

Hey don't blame cyclists on us gays, we're a largely happy and fun loving bunch who prefer to get our physical exercise in the gym rather than huffing and puffing in front of traffic.

    I'm a cyclist.

Don't have any team gear or a camera.

I should get a camera to record the number of incidents that happen.

    Am I a dry shyte? I couldn't care less.

I'll be on my bike in my lycra in the morning going to work.

Of course I see the funny side of the posters.

I must be annoying for the residents of howth who are bombarded by cyclists each weekend.

People cycle howth purely for the hills. The closest hills from there would be around naul or the Dublin mountains. Howth is a very handy place to get to

I think there's lead in the saddles or handlebars and it's gotten into their heads and made them all paranoid. Which is ironic as they do never look around to see if anybody else is around when they are out hogging our roads.

I love hills, if only for the suffering they inflict on cyclists as they grind up them and the danger they inflict as they whizz down them, praying the rubber blocks hold fast.. Hills and rain. And slippery leaves. And Luas tracks..

    I may be Bi-predjudiced..

There is a certain brand of cyclist in Dublin.

Weaving through traffic, speeding, ignoring traffic lights, up on the path, balls on show through lyrca, falling off bikes on Harcourt Street when ladies are trying to work on raising breast cancer awareness

Have not seen this elsewhere to the same level. I think people need to get out of Dublin to actual realise the general trajectory and extent of the problems with cyclists in Dublin

Last time I checked the cycling thread, they were inferring that gay was a negative thing (intended as an insult apparently) instead of being the lovely diverse bunch of people that they are. Because apparently expressing a preference not to have a mans lycra clad arse and immature schoolboy type identitybadges taking up the view from your windscreen instead of the feckin scenery you actually went on that mountain drive to see, makes you gay. Well according to them

A lot of posters professing their dislike of bi-cyclists, I wonder if they might be closet bi-cyclists.

OP you were that Luca and wear it proud, you fabulous bastard.

Good for you. You sound a little sore about the whole thing though. I don't know what made you think you can come here to complain about moderator decisions, make fun of other posters and repost the abusive generalisations that was removed from one forum.
