I have a watch. Its a Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 16 and says 100m below the date box. It has a blue rotating bezel and on the back 1534 CAL 1887 100 Meteres Mercedes Benz 300SLR.

Any idea what is worth as I want to trade it in - I cant even find it on google. It was hand down from a relative with no papers or box.

    Thanks in advance.

Of course I did all that and I cannot find the same watch...... so getting the image up would be easier.

If you can find the same watch (exact) on the web?.....just want to know the value approx.

I don't know too much about this model, so hopefully I'm wrong here. A possible red flag for me is that it says Calibre 16 on the dial and Cal 1887 on the back. These are 2 different movements, with the Calibre 16 being based on the V7750 and the 1887 being Tag's own in-house chronograph movement. I can't think of any reason why they would put both designations on a watch, as they can't both be present. I'd suggest having the watch checked for authenticity before you get your hopes up. Your relative may well have been scammed when they got it.

I agree with above. It very much looks like a replica. Only 5000 TAG Heuer Carrera 1887 300 SLR were made and then only in brown with a leather strap.

You can check it out here

You buy a replica thats very close to yours for ~€120 here (not recommended).

The white printing on the 12 and 6 sub-dials looks completely off. And the TAG logo. And the bezel doesn't look too crisp either.

    ITS FAKE!!

The seconds hand does not sweep (It ticks). That's the first thing I should have checked.

    Thanks guys for the input.
