Based on reviews, the battery is a beast on this phone and it has quick charge .

This phone is on sale over here, meteor has it in store

Got it yesterday , very impressed so far. One let down was the ear phones provided very low sound and not what i was expecting. Had htc one m9 before that and the sound was beast.

If your looking for one unlocked try Argos or a samsung shop.

Thanks for that. Do you reckon using better earphones would give acceptable sound quality?

Bluetooth earphones won't work with an fm radio as it uses the headphone cable as an antenna.

True but I have a jiayu s3 and vernee apollo lite both of which were way cheaper than the Samsung and The earphones work with an antenna plugged in(old earphones with earpiece cut off)

Have this phone just over a week now, love it so far, got it from virgin media instead of paying out straight off and can pay if off anytime I like so will probably pay it of in about a year. Just one question to anyone who might know, how do I get the mobdro app on this, cant find it in play store, had it on previous phone and think it is a great app, anyone know how to load this on the A5

I have had this phone for over a month now to use instead of my fecked s7 edge. it is a really nice phone, and best battery life I have seen from a phone yet, even with heavy usage.

Anyone have any issues with the camera on this? I was all set to get the S6 but the store threw this into the mix due to the expandable memory. However reviews online say camera quality not great?
Coming from a Vodafone Smart ultra 6...

    Hi All
Looking for some help about getting an SD card for this phone. Samsung said the following to me

"We can confirm that all of the speed classes (1 - 4) are compatible with your phone as long as the memory card isn't larger than 256GB. ^AY"

I find this confusing as I can only see Class C10, Class U1 and U3

Help? which class is best for this phone has anyone found? i had a situation with my old Motorola before that the SD card was not compatible

Just wondering if anyone else had this problem but my wife's a5 packed in on her during the week, the phone is only about a year old and recently has only being charging slowly until Monday when it would not charge at all.
She bought it to a repair shop and was told that the charger port would have to be replaced.
When she got back to the shop later that day to collect it she was told that some parts had come off the main board and it now couldn't be fixed.
The phone was bought from a son of her friend and not from a shop so she just
Doesn't know what to do with it now.
But I'm wondering if this is a common problem or it the repair shop pulling a fast one.

All Samsung phones have a 2 year warranty based off of the phones serial number and when it was first activated.

You may have been covered under warranty but probably just voided that warranty by bringing it to a third party repair shop and letting them try fix the phone.

Thanks, that's the thing with mobile phones, you think she was missing a leg and couldn't wait for it to be fixed and since she didn't buy from a shop she had to bring it to a third party repair shop.
I'm just surprised that it was a major defect according to them.

Same thing happened with me. My first one bricked as well, flickering screen when you turned it on could see nothing and it was the glass at the back that cracked , not the front.

Got a second one with a gel case and no such issue with it for months.

Hi All, hoping someone can help me on this. I've somehow managed to mute all the notifications on my A5 and have absolutely no idea A) how I did it and B) how to undo it. I've been through the Sounds & Vibration and Notifications menus ten times over at this stage and just cannot figure out how to fix it. It's not the speaker, ringtone slider is responding fine.

It's driving me demented at this stage and Google is no help at all.

    Thanks!

Did you check to see if do not disturb mode was turned on?
