Toilet exit pipe leaking when slow to drain

Kids put too much paper down the toilet, and caused it to rain downstairs. We think when the paper blocked the pipe, the water is backed up into the white piece attached to the pipe then leaked down onto the floor below. It's leaking from the white section.

Is there a seal at the white attachment that needs to be fixed? Toilet was installed about 7 months ago. how to fix this?

Tec7 silicone is best for damp application.

But if toilet is slow to drain, you have a partial blockage too, that needs sorting.

Most likely leaking due to back pressure from the blockage. Clear the blockage first, then see if it is still leaking.

Blockage was cleared, it was slow to drain because of the 50kg toilet paper stuffed in from the kids. It went down within 1 minute of the leak, I could hear the rush of water going down the drain when it cleared. And it's working perfectly since. It happened twice, so we have a good idea of what the problem is. Would imagine even if it backed up the water should just go back into the toilet and not out the white pipe anyhow.

Will give the Tec7 a go now, Thanks
