Agri Loan for land purchase

    Just wondering who are the main lenders giving out land/land with house purchase loans now?

    Is it still mainly AIB, BOI or are there any new players?

    +what kinds of interests rates are available or can be got with a bit of bargaining?

    where are the best interst rate available for land purchase at present.

    was quoted 5.8% with boi

    surely there is better deals out there ?

    5.8 is very high, is it smallish acres? If below a certain level loans tend to be offered around that level interest.

    could be that so, is it unsecured or have they security? if they have security twud want to be down at 4 or below
