When getting a kitchen fitted to a house, would you expect a warranty in writing from the company that are fitting the kitchen?

Also, what is the norm in terms of payment. Would you have to pay for the entire kitchen before it is completed? Or is it normal to hold a small percentage back until snagging is done?

Warranty at minimum 12 months and yes ensure you have this in writing.

Payment most required deposit and then final payment before installation(of which I disagree).

Thanks! Should I expect the warranty in writing on some company document...or would email be sufficient?

.If you make final payment before installation, it doesn't leave you with much leverage to get issues fixed if they arise after install. Not ideal.
