Cost me 260....Definitely not going due to unforeseen circumstances...Never will be going to this location....

    Flights with Aer Lingus...

I know I can't get money back - is there anything I can do with these flights? I presume no?

    Do the nice thing.

Offer them to someone for the price of a name change on the tickets.

Or else look for someone with the same name. Seen a few articles about people doing this.

    You won't get a refund.

Best you can do is try to sell the flight at a reduced rate and pay to change the name.

Stick them on Donedeal and buyer pays for name change.

With Ryanair another option is to login and rebook, should discount your next booking after change fee taken, not sure if Aer Lingus has the same service.

You can get a refund of the taxes paid.

Less an admin fee, which by pure coincidence is nearly exactly the same as the tax.
