Graduate Medicine following Pharmacology Degree

I am currently doing a degree in Pharmacology in UCD and I am thinking about doing graduate medicine in UCD afterwards. I know I'd love to become a doctor and specialise in neurology, pathology, psychiatry or clinical pharmacology.

However, I have a few concerns... I really want kids. I know this would be really hard, but I have a very supportive boyfriend and my family live all around me so am I crazy in thinking that having 2/3 kids while training to become a doctor would be doable? Would the hours be so bad that I would never see my kids?

Also, I'm not generally squeamish, but broken off finger/toenails are something that freaks me out. Would I get used to things and become less squeamish as time went on?

Finally, is the pay I'd earn as an intern and training to become a doctor enough to survive as well as pay back the huge loan I'd have to pay back?
