I think they all offer this but the check is only as good as the information recorded or entered in the system. On UK cars there is a higher chance of finding previous insurance information such as category write off, flood damage information, etc than on an Irish car. Of course this is all only relevant if the insurance company deals with the claim/repair rather than the owners just getting the car repaired without involving the insurance company which maybe more common with Irish cars.
