    Howdy folks,

I get a gurgling sound every now and then from a rad is this normal, It has me worried if its air one would say a leak?

I had a rad replaced about a month ago and while it was replaced it was topped up with heating inhibitor, when I bleed the rad I get air/ lots of suds. I am hoping its just this settling in,

Most of the pipe work is above ground I can see no leaks, about 10m is under the floor.

The system is open vented, Stove with back boiler driving 8 rads in a cottage (longish run).

Anyway to narrow down a leak if so a pressure test I take it?

Check that expansion pipe is not blowing water back into the storage tank in the attic.
    It loops over it.

    Report back.

Nothing at all. If I close off the heating circuit for a few days, then open it up while watching the level in the expansion tank?
