hi all,i joined a gym nearly 3 months ago,and i go twice a week and i enjoy it and i feel better but my general and physical appearance has not improved anything which is dissapointing, i was hoping to see some improvements by now,my routine is 2 reps of 10 on the leg press doing 100, reps of 10 on the chest press at 35kg and 3 reps of 10 on the lat pull down doing 45 kg and the butterfly weight machiene 3 reps of 10 at 30 kg and finally 25 mins on the tread mill at a incline of .5% and i cover a distance of 4.4 km,my gym instructor gave me a plan of 15 mins on the treadmill doing 6km,2 reps of 8 on the leg press at 60kg, 2 reps of 8 on both the chest press and lat pull down doing 25 kg

so as you can see i have uppped things alot but i cant see any differance, could any of you give me some help on setting me on the right track? the gym i joined is in a hotel, would i be better to go to a stand alone gym? where maybe a instructor could monitor my progress?

thanks in advance for your advice

    What is your diet like?

Twice a week in the gym might help but only if you are eating right.

What progress are you looking for?

We told you back in mid-2015 that your diet was poor; too much bread, too little protein: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057451847

It's great that you're at the gym and sticking to it, but I personally, and many other posters, warned you months ago that no feasible amount of exercise is going to make you lose weight if you don't fix your diet. Have you taken that advice?
