F2000 and Archer C9

I'm hoping someone on here might be able to help -

I've an Archer C9 connected to the F2000 at the present. I simply just connected the Wan port on the C9 to the F2000 and it seems to be working okish.

I tried to connect the TP Link directly to the ONT but it doesn't seem to pick up an internet connection. Can I connect the Archer directly to the ONT?

If not do I have the F2000 setup correctly or do I need turn on bridging?

Also, I have a TP Link range extender RE450 - it picks up the 2.4ghz network fine but doesn't seem to pick up the 5G. Any ideas?

Yes the C9 should directly replace the F2000. If thats not working, try using the MAC clone feature to imitate the F2000 you received.

Range extender may not see all channels depending if its DFS or not, Try setting your 5Ghz AP to 40Mhz and channel 44.
