Lifespan of Air compressor/blower for sewage treatment

    Hi,

Any opinions on the lifespan of a blower unit for a sewage treatment system?

The diaphragm is gone and I'm trying to decide whether to replace it (euro260) or get a repair kit (euro80). It's a 10yr old Hiblow hp60 and has been running fine since day 1 in our klargester p6.

I suspect that the whole blower unit is approaching end of life so I should just replace it. Thoughts? Where's best to purchase Hiblow supplies?

I replaced the effluent outlet pump a few years ago.

Update: I went and bought a new compressor as at 10 year old it appears to be at or end of expected life. Got it including delivery for €240. Installing this evening all going well.
