Pajero sport issue

I have a 07 pajero sport, its not hitting turbo, eating diesel and is noisier than usual when accelerating so much so people think I'm driving a tractor if I'm on the phone driving it. Serviced on time and all new filters and air filter put in. New water pump, timing belt and cam shaft pulley put in recently. Jeep was at it before the timing belt was put in. No leaking pipes and I have been told that the turbo is working fine as is the engine. Could it be possibly a injector problem?

They have map sensor, could be a solenoid issue. Guess work really. Plugging in to them can be vague. Any good mechanic will get to the bottom of it.

Had it in with lads and they said they put the computer but there was nothing popping up. But then they said it was running perfect. Will say that to next mechanic thanks

Is the pump still timed off the belt on these? The older 2.5s had the 4d56 engine in them and if you were even one tooth off they would run as you describe..

Yea same as older model, op said it was the same before belts were done. Unless timing is out and they just marked the new belt off old one.

Ah my bad, must have skimmed that part.

Could well be the case alright,

On another note - take off the top of the pump & screw it 180deg to the left, then put a few mm of washers under the turbo actuator mounts, and blank off the egr. It will feel like it has double the power.
