Noticed one of their cars for sale at another dealer and see now company is dissolved. Strange operation , remember seeing lots of interesting cars with 'B Twyford ' on them a few years back - assume they operated from home as never noticed any ads / garage for them ??
Then they moved to premises in Deansgrange and more recently Cornelscourt but never seemed to sell much and prices over the top. Had some interesting cars all the same when in Deansgrange. including modern classics.

Only passed there last week, they were on a corner in Cabintealy village. Nice looking setup but it was appointment only i believe.

I noticed the premises (now cordened off with concrete blocks) was closed down for some time now. Strange if it was by appointment only? The owner must have had other commitments / or was semi-retired to run a car sales business like that?

As said I noticed quite a few high cars with b twyford sticker on , but they must have operated From home. Then they opened in deansgrange a few years ago but didn't seem to sell much.

I am from the Twyford family and it was never called B Twyfords , it was just called Twyford motors

We were in a premises on the Deansgrange road, but unfortunately had to move due to it being owned by Nama and they wanted to sell the whole premise's as far as I know it is still for sale and I know we have our name written so I've (something I should contact NAMA about as it's too late to Just go and paint over now as we would be trespassing ) so we moved in the hope we could sell our cars from Cornelscourt when we moved there we spent some money on this premises in preparation to sell our cars, but due to complications with planning and the current lease holder who sub letted it to us being uncooperative we have had to close our business, I have since set up my own business with interior design.

What will happen in the future I do not know,

I hope I was somewhat informative to you guys .
If you wish to follow my business it's called Inside Upgrade and it's on Facebook.

    Have a lovely evening
    Nicky
