    Hi all,

I am temporarily unemployed, 23 living at home with parents and getting €100 a week.

If I were to move to a different county and get a place with my gf would I be entitled to an increase until I found work. I am not on Jobseekers, I am on supplementary welfare.

    Cheers

Essential needs payments enquiry? Can anybody advise me if I would be able to apply under the essential needs payments from social welfare for baby items. Baby is very active now and need item such as high chair, stair gates etc. I am on lone parents payment and can not meet the costs of these items on my income. Thanks for any advice.

You can certainly see your CWO for an interview and ask but you have no automatic "entitlement " if you understand.
The CWO will look at all your circumstances and make a desicion.

Try charity shops and buy and sell sites on facebook for those things people are often giving them away in very good condition, you don't need to get brand new expensive ones.
