Any folk heading down to Kilkenny on the May bank holiday weekend?
Been a few times, great acts, and great atmosphere.

Going for first time - Saturday and Sunday- really looking forward to it. Quick question, as we are trying to cram in as much as possible. Do the main acts typically have support acts, or is the time advertised the time they will be playing at?

no support acts. if it says 9 on your ticket , the band will start at 9 or very close to it. enjoy. its a great festival

OP if you are going to start a thread you should at least provide a link to said event.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Well I wouldn't usually, cause its a great sized festival as it is, and its seems Kilkenny is happy with it as it is.

But, just for you.....! (And people without Google :D)

    Agreed. Fantastic festival.

Newcomers be warned! The gigs do sell out.

Yes, but for the twenty of so gigs that are "paid in", there are probably sixty free ones.
