Handled a very very similar piece of damage the other week on a Mk6 Golf, came to €1250.

It would be less at an independent and less again from a back street garage. It really varies on the level of work you want done and I'd guess, like everyone, standard of repair would not mean as much to you as cost of repair.

Best thing to do is shop around, price variation will be huge.
