I am doing up 12 X 7 that was made locally about 1990. I am probably best to replace the wheels ( twin wheel ) so that second hand tyres are readily available.

I will be using the trailer for hauling loads of stone from the quarry and moving clay etc around the farm during reclamation.

What is the most popular size being used on this type trailer at the moment and where is best to get what I need for the change over ?

    Thanks

I'd say get a 10 stud axle (ROR etc.) with supersingles and you can connect up the brakes hydraulically. Never have a bother getting wheels or tyres and they'll carry serious weight.
