Looking for sweet rice flour

Anyone seen this around? The only one i can find is from bob's red mill and that is £40 on amazon, or another British company that will cost £22 to send a kilo:/
I'm in Cork, but i can get to shops in Limerick and Dublin at some point, so if anyone has spotted it let me know.
Note, it is sweet rice flour, not regular rice flour.

If so, I think I've seen it in my local (Bray) asian market, I'll have a look next time I'm in there

I've only had a little google but it seems like another name for sweet rice flour is glutinous rice flour, if that is any help

I make a dessert from it by putting some in a saucepan with milk and gradually stirring it until thick and it's lovely and sweet.

Ah feic, i knew i was forgetting something. I need it to be gluten free certified.
I don't think that is the same stuff fussyonion, but i'll do a bit of research to see.

Ah yeah, I was wondering if it was for use as a gluten-free substitute. I'm pretty sure the asian supermarket brands do not guarantee to be gluten-free unfortunately. One slightly helpful thing is that "glutinous rice" doesn't contain any actual gluten unless it's contaminated in production - it's just called that because it's sticky

I have never used iherb but know plenty on boards have in the past. Shipping is still high but I think you can order several things and it does not go up much.

You could also trying emailing or ringing around health shops. I know an independent one near me is open to getting special stuff in. I got grains in I think 3kg bags which ended up far cheaper per kilo than the 500g typical bags.

I have definitely seen the "bobs" range in health shops, so their supplier might also be able to get that stuff.

Oh, I've not seen that site before, thanks rubadub.
The coop here in Cork do stock some bob's red mill, so i can ask them if they can get their hands on it.
