    Hi,
Looking at doing the Ring of Kerry this year, Anyone have any tips for training as i never done any long cycle like this before?

Also anybody know of any accommodation available around killarney that weekend? most places quoting 300-500 for the Friday and Saturday night.

That's insane. You could stay in a nice hotel in Cork and get a taxi to and from the start line for that kind of money

If it's for the two nights it's not really. I stay in hotels a lot with work and hotel prices over that direction go mental during the summer.

Cork city will be similar prices they're around that now midweek. Of course you could stay further out the way but the town is great craic those couple of days.

I don't agree with the entry fee to ROK but but I'd say 3-500 is around market price. I've seen hotels asking €1000 for one night

Try a B&B just check your not miles out as the taxi men refuse to travel very far that night as they are "busy"....

Camping? If a tent isn't your thing, could try friends/clubs with camper van spaces. Flesk is where I'll be lodging...very handy location and on the route. Also Whitebridge up the road.
