Towbar fitters (Limerick)

    I'm looking for some advice on who could fit a detachable towbar to my new Focus, based in the Limerick area.

    Tried a few crowds over the phone and price is varying from €650 to €450. Unsure if that's the best value I can get. Any advice?

    I've fitted several tow bars over the years.... Cavalier, Mondeo, Alhambra (two different cars).

    it's not that big a job.

    if you can follow Ikea (or lego) instructions, then do it yourself

    Fitted a towbar to my Avensis yesterday. 2003 Avensis, new towbar about 220 euro. Got a secondhand one for 50, complete with bolts, wiring and trailer socket. Took about two hours. Watched video on YouTube to see how rear bumper came off.
    Only holdup was rust in the nuts that are welded into the rear chassis rails. (14 years of road spray)
    Had to go to town to buy a metric thread tap to clean out the threads in those nuts.
    Really solid job.
