18kw Vokera Vision or Glow-worm Energy 18s

    Hi all,

    Getting a new boiler as ours is 15 years old I think and starting to give problems.

    So phibsborogas.ie have an offer on at the moment of €1,599 for either the 18kw Vokera Vision or a Glow-worm Energy 18s. They replace and take away the old boiler. 5yr warranty.

    There's an offer for a Worchester Bosch boiler at €1995 with a 7 year that I just can't afford right now.

    Honestly I've no clue which one to get so any advice here would be great.

    Outside of that we were going to get the energy grant and install all sorts around the house to monitor usage etc but funds are tight so just replacing boiler for now.

    But can we upgrade down the line to be able to control the heating with apps etc?

    Lastly how much cost is involved in a company installing a timer on the immersion?

    Aswe won't be getting the heat control stuff I'll probably use the immersion in the morning for the shower but there's no timer on it which is a pain getting up, put it on, wait, etc..
