Besides dairying , can anyone tell me how to make more money from farming than I can get from renting it out. Land around here makes from about 200 to 250 per acre.

At that money you're making more than the person renting it from you. Same old story, very hard for 2 people to make money from the same piece of ground.

I think if I get that for100 acrea it's 20000/25000 which might be hard to make . No expenses or risks

If you no entailments it be impossible to make any more out of it I would say.

If you put it on a long term lease you get it tax free

If your happy to let it work away

it goes against my nature to rent to someone else but at the same time can sometimes be a busy fool

the average beef farmer makes 100 euro per acre per year

some years more , some years a loss

    250 is terrific money

land delivers a terrible yield , its not an investment for income

Not sure I was ever really a farmer to be honest, but I like pretending to be one... ;)
Like part timer - I let most of the place on a long term lease, and kept a few acres around the house for myself, for my bit of token farming... Working out well so far...
