Recover field after horses

I have about 2 acres that had a horse (and donkey) on it over the winter. It's fairly destroyed after the Horse.

Now that the weather has started to dry up I want to try and recover it. It will only ever be for grazing by the same pair and maybe a few calves so I don't want to have to reseed it. I don't have a land leveler but I do have a Roller.

What I was going to do was (in this order).....

Pull an old Buck Rake over it for an hour or two to level it out.
Throw out a shake of grass seed over the whole lot of it
Go over it all with the roller the roll the grass-seed in and flatten it out.

    Does that sound ok ?
Should I throw out a shake of fertilizer with the grass seed. I don't need a massive crop of grass, but I do want it to recover as quickly as possible.
Also, if the above sounds ok, how long should I try and keep the pair off it ?

    Thanks in Advance.

Maybe run the buck rake over it after you spread the seed as well and then roll. Throw out a couple of bags of 10.10.20 too
