Toilet cistern taking forever to fill

    I'm not sure what happened but the cisterns on two of the toilets in my house now take forever to fill. It's slowed to just a drip. Will I have to replace or are there some adjustments I can make?

    Could be a screen for catching particles on the inlet side of the float is blocked. Could you put up a pic of whats inside cistern? Not a big job to sort out.

    My problem with the cistern/toilet is that there is a constant flow of water into the bowl. It is about 3-4 years old, a small cistern with a top that is opened with an allen key. There isn't one of the old traditional type ballcocks but there is a blue plunger like device that seems to be the problem. It's doing my head in flowing all day and night. Any help appreciated.:(

    Filler valve most likely not shutting off. The overflow into the toilet is a safety feature. Easy enough. Post a pic.
