Quick question to anyone who might know the answer. I'm trying to look at VAT treatment of new build commercial properties (lets say retail, office, etc.), now I know that new build residential is subject to 13.5% VAT on the sale but I can't seem to decipher from any sources online on how commercial is treated. Even the revenue.ie site just states that 'new build' is subject to 13.5% VAT, but I'm wondering does that stretch to commercial units too?
