5 star pedigree angus heifer

    have a pedigree aberdeen angus heifer coming 2 year old end of this month, has been ai'd about 5 times now, recent was mid feb time-scanned today empty! what would ya do--get rid? shes a 5 star+is a nice sort+sort need her for the bdgp scheme, but this farce.as if serve her again now-be 2018 before possible calf.. would have get rid?

    Have you a bull. Had cows in past ai was a pain and one look at the bull and she was in calf. If her bloodlines are good then worth a go.

    have 5 young bulls..there--moved them field next to her today there... shes by Hoemville pal-ex a TFX daughter--is a nice hfr! not a super star now.. but has 5 stars+132...

    I'd second bull, we had to do the same with a pb limo before, always held to AI after the first year with the bull.
    She might be releasing the egg early or late so difficult to catch with AI, bull would cover her enough to cover that!

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Heifers can be difficult to ai, run her with a bull this year, then try ai next year.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Are you causing her much stress getting her in for AI as that can be a factor too.

    At this stage let her off with the bull and let nature take its course

    put a young in with her last week-think he did the job.know soon enough
