I would appreciate if anyone could advise where I could locate a triton control cartridge for a felice / Farah mixer shower - part ref 83314490. I have tried everywhere and failed miserably! Thanks

It's discontinued. Triton Uk, Triton Ireland & showerdoc all show obsolete. You'll have to replace the shower by the looks of it

That's what Im afraid of. I have spent weeks trying to get my hands on a replacement flow control lever for the shower and when I finally succeeded, albeit by having to buy the whole assembly unit for the shower at at cost of close to €250, triton have gone and pulled the flow control cartridge from the market. A pretty contemptible decision given that it is used in at least 3 different models all of which were available to buy less than 6 years ago. I still cant get over how a company can sell what is an expensive product and can decide within 5 years its going to make it obsolete forcing people to replace a shower for a €20 consumable part. The poor auld shareholders must have wanted to up their return on investment and what better way to do it but to shaft their customers.

    Fooled me once Triton ..

Mira stock parts for showers from over 30 years ago. Problem is they change accordingly. Last cartridge I bought from them was about 4 years ago. I paid over 350 euro for it. The client thought I was trying to rob them till I showed them the receipt. At least with Mira you have the choice I suppose

Another form of extortion I suppose! At least though you can decide to go ahead and fix or replace the shower.. who knows maybe you were planning to do a bit of decorating anyway.

If you do have to charge the shower triton will most likely have a direct replacement so there shouldn't be any messing with tiles. Usually when a shower manufacturer ends production of a model they have a new model that'll be a straight swap
