I keep hearing about guys driving trucks across Iraq getting paid a 100 grand as basic and so many other stories that I felt compelled to ask the question here .

Where are the highly paid jobs for manly men with balls of steel like myself ?

(I have some engineering qualifications for example which could help)

what say you ? Tell us what you know.

I hear there are people getting paid 100 grand for driving trucks in Iraq. Not sure where I heard it, but it's probably a good place to start.

One of often mentioned high paying dangerous job is underwater welding. I don't know much about it myself but plenty of info out there if you Google.

The husband of my girlfriends best childhood friend has a job exactly like this. They are all from Eastern Europe and still live there. I met them on Skype but not in person. She wont' tell me how he got the job though. Maybe she doesnt want me to die . However its up to me to evaluate the risks , right ? And I'm qualified for something other than Truck Driving.

Sounds like a lead. What the downside ? Lung cancer ? Or maybe that for 3 weeks you are in the middle of nowhere, a giant arid desert with nowhere to spend your money and nothing to do while sweating like a pig ? As long as I could still sh1tpost on boards I'd stay sane.

Yeah working in the sweltering heat in the middle of desert for 3 weeks at a time for 12+ hours a day 7 days a week. Camps are set up for food and sleep.
Talked to a couple of Scottish lads that were doing it and they said its grand work. They in early 20's and loving the money.

Majority of the positions are given to Australian's but still plenty of foreign lads doing it.

I'm sure alot of the big international energy/oil, infrastructure and construction companies work in some seriously dodgy locations.

Maybe you could get your danger money there, if you have an engineering background.
