Golfing Holiday

I know there are loads of golfing holiday threads (ive spent the last 2 hours looking through them) but im wondering if anyone has any recommendations based on the following:

Group of 3-4 lads
4 nights in Portugal/morocco/turkey (or anywhere similar)
decent golf courses (maybe play 1 top end - but not looking for cheap public ones either)
Looking for a self catering apartment that would have access to a pool to relax after the round with a few beers. (ideally self catering apartment off a hotel)
night life is optional, a few bars/restaurants nearby would be nice but it will be a chilled out golfing holiday as opposed to a boozing session.

If anyone has been on something like this id love to get some recommendations

Girona, pga catyalunya was one of the best courses I played in Spain.
Can't remember the name of the other courses we played in the area but the golf is better than the Malaga area.

I can only comment on Portugal myself but check out resorts like Quinta Do Lago, Villa Sol, and Vilamoura. All are very nice golf resorts that cater to the high and mid end for green fees and all will have plenty of places to stay.

Thanks, Villamora prob the safest bet it seems.

First Up

Take a look at the Estoril area near Lisbon. Good golf options, decent night life and a short hop into Lisbon.

Eight of us going there in a months time, playing the 2 Catalunyas and Emparda and Platja De Pals, staying in Girona, can't wait - not cheap.
