    Hi,

Just wondering has anyone heard back yet from Roscommon Co Co on their application for Grade 4 and 5 Officers? Applications closed March 30th and I haven't heard anything back.

    Thanks in advance!

Nothing yet. I imagine an acknowledgement will be received first and it will be well into May before there is any sort of substantive reposonse.

    Still nothing?

Still nothing, a friend of a friend mentioned it in passing to someone they know that works in there about a month ago and apparently they hadn't even started reviewing applications at that stage. They also said not to expect to hear much until after the summer as so many of the decision makers will be away on holidays that very little will be done.
So all we can do is sit it out and wait patiently and hope for good news I guess.

    Hi,
    Still no word from Roscommon.
I had also applied to Galway Co Co around the same time & I received email today telling me I will be receiving an appointment later this week for the Psychometric testing.
So hopefully we'll hear soon from Roscommon too.

Just emailed Roscommon HR as there was a change to my personal details.

    Info in reply:
"shortlisting for these positions will commence next week. All candidates will be notified in due course."

The results are out from the shortlisting, any one called for interview? Anyone any idea what format Co Co interviews take?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24 Shasheen

Thanks for the update. Ah the suspense will get me, I won't be home from work to check post until 7pm.
No idea re interview format I'm afraid. Are the interviews next week?

Results of shortlisting came out yesterday, interviews starting next week. Did you get a letter?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 96 ✭✭morphman

    I got a letter...
    Not shortlisted so no interview.

Got letter today ....not shortlisted. Its very unusual having no aptitude test or some sort of elimination process like other CoCo competitions??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 96 ✭✭morphman

    I agree.
Starting to think I was better off not getting interview....heard there is unrest there

didn't get shortlisted either... kind of glad really, took them long enough from application closing date to rejection letter

Is this about the possibility of them loosing flexi time? I don't know how the unions let that slide, it's with the labour relations commission at the moment I think?

The flexi time is only the tip of the iceberg!!

Really? I know someone who got an interview, could you elaborate a bit? Feel free to send me a pm if you don't want to do it publicly.
