    Hi all,

I was going to head out to Homebase in Santry afterwork to pick up an

    Outback Excel 310 Gas BBQ
    (Costs 220 Euro)

Now I have just checked AppliancesDelivered.ie an came accross the following Gas BBQ and can't make up my mind which one to go for?

Campingaz Xpert 200 LS (Cost is 200 Euro + 20 Delivery, so essentially the same price)

Which is a better BBQ and which would you go for???

    Thanks for any advice!

I've had 2 OUtback BBQs with 4 burners now 6. Never had any cause to complain about either of them.

I think the Outback has a very small shelf in it, where the Xpert has a much bigger self...they are very handy to have as in, leave food on top and be able to walk away without the fear that the food will catch on fire, so im saying the Xpert :-)

Go for the outback, they have an office in donegal who are great to deal with if you need to replace the burners !!!!

Wait until next month and get a bigger half price one in Homestore & More :)

Why? Is there a Sale on in Homestore + more next month??

Anyway, I went with the Outback as it is a good brand name and they only had 2 left. Apparently they are the biggest seller in Homebase.

Capingaz is apparently a "Budget" brand whereas Outback and Weber are known as high quality brands when it comes to BBQs

Every May or June for the last 3 years the monthly half price options have been BBQ's, gonna invest in one again this year, gave away my last one due to house renovations but there was nothing wrong with the BBQ's from there.

I've had a couple of Outbacks over the years and found them to be great. However, my next BBQ will be a charcoal one. Gas ones are just not the same
