Interested in starting at Dunmanway and going the whole way into Kinsale.
    Anyone done this?
Roughly how long would it take?
Is it suitable for a less experienced kayaker?

I don't know if anyone has done a source to sea in one day but given you are asking the experience question I'd say that put's you in most likely not experienced enough category.

What boat are you planning on using?
Apart from the Weir in Bandon there's only minor rapids (grade 2 - 2+). On some of the stretch upstream of Bandon town you might find some trees down. From Innishannon down is tidal.
How much experience do you have?
