Robot Mowers

    Hey all,
My elderly mum is living alone with a 0.5 acre site and about 0.3 acres of grass. The self drive mower is getting toward the end of practicality for her, she struggles to start it and really struggles emptying the box.
Shes very particular about the lawn being neat so wants it cut once a week for the bones of 8 months in the year. Making a gardener expensive!

Has anyone got experience with robot mowers? They sound like the perfect solution! Are they good? Reliable? Hard to set up? The lawn is in 3 sections, 2 are connected with a narrow strip of grass, the 3rd could be of need. The lawns have trees in them, flowerbeds, septic tank vent pipes and manhole covers oh and there's a pond in one of them.

    Thanks!
