Letter from ControlAccount about Import Duty - do I owe money?

    I bought an item online in December from USA, around €300. The seller said they do not cover any custom charges. It arrived fine in December.

    I have since received two letters from ControlAccount saying I owe €110 for outstanding Import/Export and/or VAT. The last letter states it is the final warning before they pass it to their Legal Department.

    It seems legit but after checking online and on Boards, two posters said to ignore it.

    Do I owe this money?

    I owed Import Duty. Paid now. All good. Well, besides having to pay 100 f**king quid, all good.
