Help needed to cover mirror damage.

I know its a long shot but I am looking for help in covering up a piece of a mirror which I bought in an auction but with some damage. (more damage than I thought):( I have enclosed some pics and am wondering has anyone any ideas as to how I could cover up the missing piece. Maybe some decorative tape on each corner line…

Patsy,
Go to a shop like hickeys and buy some nice ribbon and put it in each corner. A nice grey or black might suit
