Passport validity to travel to canada

Im travelling to canada from the 13 th to the 25 th of april but my passport expires on the 7 th of june. ON the canadian government's site it says that the ETA is valid as long as the passport is, there's no mention of how long the passport needs to be valid for( it used to be 6 months before they invented the ETA).
