    Hi,

Anyone doing IATI course this year? I'm studying first year, full time. Exams not too far away, and the stress is starting to kick in.

I think I'm ok with tax (need to work on VAT), and business I'm ok with. Financial and Law would be my hardest subjects.

There's so much to learn in Law, it kinda scares me so I keep pushing to the side.

    How's everyone else doing?

Study the exam papers and learn key words for the theory.

Im doing this course and exams less than 5 weeks, law and business are a mindful, it would help if we had some good teachers lecturing us for those subjects where I am , i dont know where to start. Im trying to cut out bits in law and dont know what to concentrate on.

Law I'm going to keep doing the sample papers and past few exam papers over and over. I'm hoping to know at least 3 parts each in section b and c really well. Section A, I plan on leaving to the week before the exam and just cram chapters 16 and 17. We are on Easter break now so I plan on dedicating 2 days per week to just law.

Business: Section C is based on the last 3 chapters of the book. That's worth 50 marks. So maybe try and learn those chapters really well.

My mind is just consumed with the thought of the exams at the moment, I can't wait till there over.

    Good luck with the study.

Tips is to do a bit of study every day or stick to a study plan , keep doing exam paper questions too and this is the key to pass

Whilst it is easy now don't leave study build up thinking exams are far away keep studying

Tks Wally, is it worth doing out notes? This is what I've been doing but takes so long...just wondering if I'm better doing the questions in the book and past exam and sample questions??

Forget about writing out notes - that's no more than a self-delusion that you are studying.
Practise questions, make mistakes, learn from the mistakes and improve your practical ability to do what you will have to do in the exams.  Use the MyRevision software for practise.

That's what I'm beginning to think!! Definitely think that's the road I'll go down. Tks
