    Lough Bo will host a S.T.A.G.S. Shoot this coming Sunday April 2nd.

    This will be a very comprehensive shoot incorporating many disciplines. The competition is open meaning no membership needed. All are welcome.

    It's an any calibre, any sight match. First shots to be fired at 10:30 am so get there early.

    Stage 1: Varmint Poker

    6 Shots, 2 min 30 sec @ 100 yards.
    • Pick 3 cards
    • Shoot a card and the fox from the sitting position
    • Shoot a card and the rabbit from the kneeling position
    • Shoot a card and the crow from a bench
    • 3 cards that are picked most match cards shot
    Bipod permitted, no bags allowed.


    Stage 2: Know your limits

    5 shots, 1 min 30 sec @ 100 yards.
    • 5 steels all shot from the prone position. Start with the biggest and finish on the smallest.
    • Shooter can stop at any time and keep that score.
    • If shooter misses any target the points total is lost.
    Bipod and rear bag allowed.


    Stage 3: Prairie Dog Hill

    4 shots, 1 min @ 100 yards
    • Clear the hill of varmint targets
    Bipod only.


    Stage 4: Positions

    5 shots, 2 min 30 sec @ 50 yards.
    • 5 shots on a precision target
    • Prone, kneeling, sitting
    • Standing using strong aide
    • Standing using weaker side
    No bipod, bags or slings allowed.
