Wisdom Tooth Healing

Got a lower left wisdom tooth (impacted 90 degrees against back tooth) removed on Friday morning and appears to have healed very well, scab formed and no more pain. Washing with corsodyl regularly, arnica tabs etc.

I know it is very much advised not to but would it be terribly stupid to have one cigarette (and I mean just one) to stem cravings. I know the nastys that cigarette smoke could introduce to a healing wound, even after 48h.

I was thinking wet gauze and corsodyl to put a barrier between the healing socket (stitched) and smoke and cut the filter to reduce suction. I know that dry socket is excruciating so if it increases my chances of getting it considerably, I'll just forget it for another day or two. Any advice is most appreciated.
